I had to order a new card on August 27 next day if for $13. It was lost they still have not sent it to me. USPS is doing an investigation and I want them to stop the investigation looking for this damn card my rent and every bill is overdue, can’t even afford anything on the card and no one will help me. I don’t want investigation. I want to be able to call DirectExpress and tell them to send another card immediately and they won’t let me.

They cannot repossess your car without a court order. It violates your constitutional rights.

Dude they messed me up almost every despite. My old care giver took my card and stole my money and they didn't care . Another time I got ripped off and they made it where my paperwork was done in time cuz they mailed it late but my fault.so yeah they owe me quite a bit

What if the company puts you into repossession illegally? I'm currently dealing with this issue with Lexus. They failed to credit my account for payments made and then instead of properly crediting my account. They subtracted more payments from my account than I actually made as well making me 2 months behind in the hole, which is forcing me into a repossession. I've been waiting since April for them to fix it. Every time I call, they say they're gonna fix it, but they have now put me into reposition and refused to take payments when they created the financial issue in the first place. Let me tell you about direct Express. I had to order a new card. And when I did I had to be verified for the first time in 8 years. They will not accept any form of identification no matter how many times I send it if I tax it or anything else it is ridiculous. I'm going to announce this and put this on blast in every way possible. I have tried to reach the direct Express bank called co America and they don't care either.

My friend sued a collector company under the FDCPA because the collector tried to collect a false debt, they accused him of a false transaction, however the federal court says that even though they were in default they cannot issue a judgment against that company because he is a not a consumer and is not a collection and there is not a transaction. I read in case law however, that my friend was involved under a non consensual transaction and he is protected under de FDCPA

Help Desk is a joke this is the worst thing you can do is get the Direct Express card. Don't do it!!! Once they cancel your card for alleged fraud and they will, go immediately to SS and have it cancelled and request a check. The best thing is to not get one at all to begin with. Have SS send you a check, in the mean time open a Bank Acct and have the funds deposited there. It takes 2 months for Social Security to deposit to your bank account so make sure you get a check until then vs the money going to the DE Card! If you for whatever reason can not get a bank acct ask a friend or relative to add you as an account holder to their account. Direct Express are scammers. They have been sued for their behavior. The Help Desk will ask for all your ID's and then tell you its not any good go to Social Security. Social Security has no affiliation with Direct Express other than to stop the payments to them. It's called the run around. Crooked company. You also will need to talk to an attorney but he might charge more than Direct has stolen from you but it can't hurt to try. File a complaint with the Inspector General's Office and your Congressman. Good luck in getting your money back!

My charge was unauthorized and unlisted. Scotiabank gave me a $4 charge without listing it in any transactions, and put me into overdraft without any second thought or hesitation.
